This is a picture of a tree. Exciting hey.
What you will note about this particular tree is that there is a distinct lack of ducks sitting in the tree. In the past certain people have claimed that they have seen ducks sitting in trees, but these same people have also made claims about ducks with guns and so on. So I don't think we should believe them.
Whilst there is no duck in this tree, it seems to be true that ducks do indeed sit in trees. I have recently received sound evidence in support of this strange fact.
"I have seen a duck in a tree..... i have evidence! clarence was there! ( also a duck )"
-- Matt
"Quack!"
-- clarence the duck
If it wasn't for the evidence of clarence the duck, I wouldn't believe it.
Freaky. As they say, urban myths occasionally have origins in truth. I can imagine that one day that this well hung duck will be perverted into some sort of urban legendary tale. Any ideas what the tale might end up like? Send them to me if you're feeling imaginative.
Yes, it's true. torrent ducks exist. Usually a friend of mine makes up weird tales (eg. his own variant on urban myths) to amuse his friends with. This time he was just 'expanding on the theme'.
Apparently torrent ducks are actually real. However, if you read through this article about torrent ducks, nowhere does it mention that they have 'velcro-like feet' or are 'known to scale sheer cliff walls' as a matter of course. Nonetheless, life is weird. As are ducks.
There are many suitable names for ducks. Among these are; Daffy, Tibbles, Donald, Binkley, Petunia, Howard and Dodgers (in the 24th and a half century).
It is important to remember that all ducks are not called Howard. A number of them perhaps, yes, but not all of them.
